The Fool 2.0
The Fool is a performative character designed by Connor Schumacher.
The Fool is a character that reveals concepts in space base on two perspective codes:
1) Straightness is a concept
2) Everything opens and everything closes
Using these two perspectives he reflects and interacts with space to tap in the individual and communal archive of the human body to give critical thought, comic embodiment, and engagement of himself and the spectator. Give him an inch - and he'll take a mile.
The Fool 2.0 has become a series of performance and interventions in multiple contexts.
Theaters, classrooms, museums, galleries, festivals, train stations -
no place is safe from The Fool.
Made with the support of Dansateliers, the Boijmans van Beuingen Museum, and FPK Nieuwe Makers Regeling
